OMG.
Doesn't matter Mr cop. Once Harper decided that, the boys in blue have no say. What's done is done and theirs is to do their jobs. Were you not a cop at some point?
Period. And marching orders come from the top..aka your good buddy Blair. Your agument is akin to saying WWWII was Hitlers moms fault, if she hadnt spread her legs....
Why are those concepts so hard for you to see? That one is not related to the other.
I ask you the same question?
Do you think it was wise or reasonable for Harper to insist on Toronto for the G7?
I agree the Police have to follow lawful orders and that is exactly what Chief Blair did. But now you somehow want to criticize the job he did, make up your mind please.
In the end it all worked out fine Harper got his summit, the Toronto public got mad (at Harper), this led to him getting the boot out of office and will make it very difficult for Conservatives to get a foot hold again in Toronto at the Federal level.
Doug Ford has a love affair with Justine Trudeau, Justine is having a love affair with Joe Biden. LOL
In the meantime you guys are pissed off at Trudeau, Biden, Ford and it seems O'Toole.

The rhetoric is pitiful.
Trying to get you to see the BIG PICTURE here is very difficult, not only would it be difficult to lay charges a conviction by a jury in Canada would be impossible. IMHO.

With respect to the topic Gilroy, how does it matter? Why aren't you blaming his mother for conceiving him. If she hadn't than the he'd have never been elected and.......
You will find any excuse to deflect from any politician/bureaucrat on the left ever being responsible for anything. Whther it's JT and vaccine screw ups or, pretty much every topic. It's always the cons fault.
And with specific respect to Blair, because you seem to have forgotten how chain of command works, especially with military/para military organizations
The buck starts and stops with him.
Blair alone is responsible, as the Chief of police for what occurred on the streets of TO.....

I disagree of course and it is clearly on Harpers shoulders, Canada is a big country with many places to hold a summit.
If he wanted to get on with the G7 actual business ,instead of GRANDSTANDING and upsetting the population, he should have taken his horse and pony show off some where else. He knew there would be protests, appeared to want them and went down that road.
Almost akin to the Trump inciting a riot on the White House, except Harper wanted to incite a riot with folks who did not support him.
That is why BOTH dictators are GONE.IMHO

Our political leaders have sworn allegiance to the Red Flag.
Can't say we were not warned on numerous occasions by CSIS.
"Asked if Vigneault said in his actual speech that China posed “the” biggest cyber threat, CSIS spokesman John Townsend declined to say."

" In essence, any ill-will with Canada can be overridden by far more prominent and long-term strategic concerns."
Dr. Tam - WHO / China
Chrystia Freeland - Board of Governors - AIIB- China controlled World Bank
Trudeau's public admiration of China
Chinese troops training on government soil and vice versa
Warnings from CSIS
Anything else I should add Agent 吉尔罗伊 ?

Sure you can acknowledge that Canadian Capitalists have been doing big business with Chinese Communists for decades now as is evident by my link above. Prime Minister Harper was right in bed with them from day one, I can find you many more links.
https://www.thestar.com/opinion/comm...at-a-time.html
In 2012 Dogwood asked 7,000 Conservative donors to share their thoughts on the investment deal. According to Nagata 72 per cent said they would consider withdrawing financial support from the Harper Conservatives if the deal was ratified.
“Today marks a turning point,” Nagata said. “Harper has turned his back on Canadians, including the grassroots members of his own party, simply to save face with the regime in Beijing.

Mr Harper barely raised a voice when Canadians were imprisoned in China.

Anything to add dear comrade Yǐngxiǎng
ALSO
Prime Minister Stephen Harper, when he was still Opposition leader, claimed there were up to 1,000 Chinese agents in Canada.
He quoted a CSIS official as saying that Chinese spies stole $1 billion worth of technological secrets every month
Did not stop him doing deal's later on when in power.LOL

"clearly"
lol, your funny, in a sad way.
1) How many world class cities does Canada have? Regardless, what occurred there is on Blair, your best buddy. Hell I'm surprised you aren't blaming Obama for letting Canada host it, using your logic. Quite honestly Terry, you either lacking somewhere, or intentionally trolling, being obtuse, deflecting etc..
2) Trump. Well I'm going to use your logic. That was CNNs and the lefts fault for rigging the election and fake news. How could he have known....
3) Actually, I'm going to blame the Liberals. Harper chose TO because knowing in order to win elections politicians have to kiss butt there. And hosting such things is normally considered "good".
4) How could Harper have known what might occur....
5) Again, where Harper decided to host it, and how things played out....Thats on Blair...Of coarse if we follow your fuzzy left logic, that would explain why one mid left level underling scapegoat was thrown under the bus....And not Harper. You are quite literally about the only person, that has ever blamed Harper for it. But that is your and the Liberal default anytime they screw up isnt it? Blame anyone and everyone else.
you really should think things through Terry
