Your imagination of the USA is incredibly hilarious.?.

His very first line is all I needed to read. I was down in the USA way back in 1973 as a Police Cadet from Glasgow. Worked in the Central State Hospital for the criminally insane for a few weeks, went out with homicide detectives on a ride around from St Peterburg PD. Two of them ex Vietnam Vets, great guy's, lived with a family of adopted Armenians, seven girl's and one guy, everybody I meet down there were great people. Unfortunately the USA of 1973 is not the USA of 2021, my image of America is shaped from what I perceived then and now.

Political dysfunction
Poverty
“Freedom” but afraid to go out w/o firearms
Polarization
Bankruptcy for many when they get stitches
Yada yada
Most of the US, you could offer me a millions dollars to live there and I wouldn’t.

I would be curious to know, which party has held the balance of power since the 1960s? If Democrats, as with Canada. Fair to suggest they flushed a once great nation?

I wonder if Trump will play with some of the people that attacked him. Maybe he’ll help win the next time. He may have taken names of the troubled people.

I have family who have been living in the USA for decades. Your perception is far from reality, your view of Texas on another thread is proof enough...lol
JoePa tells it like it is, people like JoePa are what makes USA such a great Country

If you think Trump will be impeached you should also think that Trudeau will be held accountable for all the laws he broke?

Yes the USA of 1973 - like Canada - is not the USA of today. Today America is far more left leaning and progressive than it is today.
Can you imagine the Democrat policies of today being proposed in 1970's America???
Can you imagine Kent State happening today?

Ridiculous to judge a society and their quality of life based on who is sitting in the White House.....politicians are meaningless in the grander scheme of things.
Voting obviously only reflects the whim of people..like in the GTA who like the guy with nice hair and silly socks...
