I think what you are referring to was the mention of a Huron Confederacy but I am not sure. Again these are Champlain's words, but does not mean there was a cohesive "Indian Confederacy"......what he saw was a Tribe (Hurons) who were at constant war with the Iroquois so I can pretty much say there was no confederacy as that is a white man's term.

Just because you call it something does not mean it sticks (ex) IRA........they were not really an army, but rather an unorganized terrorist group. You can call them an army but it does not make them one.

We are working on that right now ,the over representation of visible minorities in jail, rolling back Conservative minimum mandatory sentences that caused more problems. Minister is on the telly right now.

Truth be told who all the criminals are in this country.
Visible minority are filling the jails.
Excellent immigration we have here in Canada, bringing in criminals to fill our vacant jails....lol

Where did the British recruit the best soldiers? Ireland and Scotland, Why, because they were left impoverished and that was one of the only job's going. Remember the Act of Union was not a military defeat it was an economic pact that suited Scotland.

Had the English not had that peace they would have owned nothing, they would still be fighting the Scot's and Irish.
