Why would someone start dating a person of a different race? Shortage of people to date. What? Maybe , because they are attracted to them , see things in their morals, demeanor, personal qualities, values, common interests, that are attractive. The same things I hope you found in your wife, obviously excluding religion and colour. Adopted children that do not look like their parents, don't know where they belong? Nonsense. They have said that 10% of people who think they know who their father is ,DNA shows they are wrong. Lots of divorces have come out of those DNA ancestry sites.

JoePa, having a choice or preference is not at all racist.
If we want to talk racism, BLM is a severe racist group and our governments accept them not as racists but as peaceful protesters. Some of their own leaders want white man dead, that is racism not peaceful protesters.
It's so out of control here in Canada our prime minister announced just a few days ago that we have to many minorities in our jails so our federal government is going to lesson sentences for gun and drug crimes in Canada.

Hey Joe, you remind of Archie Bunker..... I didn't agree with too much what he said, but I did like him....

Cman. What they are trying to do is make the justice system fair for all. When people get harsher sentences ,or get ,or don’t get second chances , based on their ancestry ,that is wrong. They do have the stats, of the courts and of incarcerated people to back up that fact. That is reality, and it’s wrong.

Never mind Joe-You can not convince some here...waste of time.

At the other hand-for those reading to much into racism term-i have a question.

I am from Europe...even bit nowadays, but a whole lot more like 50 years ago or so,there was EXCATLY the same opinion/EXACTLY same feeling/EXACTLY same drive and many time a "must",to marry from Your own nation.
It was frown upon if a Serb was to marry a Macedonian/a Croat to marry a Hungarian/a Romanian to marry a Bulgarian/and Albanian to marry a Montenegrin-or vice versa -You name it.
    Or You name nation combinations.

Heck, even same was the opinion among the members of the same nation, but from different religions, too.

Especially this was a trend in " mixed "areas.
The marriage happened regardless, many times -BUT there was EXACT same opinion about it,as Joe-You as OP mentioned.

Would that make them all racist???

    No-made them perhaps nationalists/bigots/religious!

    Ok.
    Does racism exist?
Would I want my children to raise kids born into it? Maybe just get shot because their skin pigment...

    FN
Would I want my children to marry into that? Have fun getting credit if you live on a res. And yes, I tried to help a white lady, get financing. Wrong postal code
    denied
    denied

    denied

I could rhyme off a dozen cultures and ethnicities I would prefer my children not marry into. Including some white European ones.

If that makes me a racist.....

Ultimately it makes them happy Fatri. But you are allowed preferences are you not. No doubt you would be perfectly ok with your daughter marrying some kid, who was raised with sharia law and she move to the Mid East. If I’m wrong my apologies. I suspect I’m not.

What about a white kid marrying another white kid that believes in the KKK....... If you look for the flaw, (negative outcomes) you are sure to find them....

I believe I mentioned white guy with social conservative views?

Trimmer has mentioned bigotry which often gets confused for racism. One could make the argument that characterizing social conservatives and even some alt right as racist. Is bigotry

Not unlike sexism/misogyny/misandry.Two very different things
