Prove me wrong ...
Many people think that you have a soul and a body and at death your body dies while your soul (the real you) doesn't - isn't it a sad commentary that you are born into this world - go through life not really knowing the reason why you even exist - and after the struggle you die and that's it - just a waste - but someone did come along and give you a reason for living and a promise that after death things could be much better - now I know that many people reject this person and that is their right to do so - but don't you think that it is worth spending some time finding out why so many people do believe him and why - this is the claim he made - "I am the resurrection and the life - he who believes in me though he dies will live and he who lives because he believes in me will never die" - sounds pretty good to me - we all have a choice to make - I guess we will all find out someday - after all we are in the same boat but come up with different choices - I honestly wish best for everyone

I appreciate you have those 'beliefs' Joe and if they help you get thru life, that's wonderful. A lot of humanity needs that proverbial crutch that they receive from the teachings of the church on how to live their lives.
But reality is there is, in the entirety of mankind, never been any proof of an 'after life' beyond death. Lots of 'stories' that are never supported by scrutiny or studies by the neurosciences.
No proof, only faith, but that appears to be enough for most people.

I have no problem with what you believe Joepa, if it does not affect the lives of those who don't. Please don't assume you are morally superior to those who do not believe in any god. I am out of here before MarkB. shows up. Lol.

I guess seeing is believing, until that happens to each individual, they hold their own beliefs.
Skeptics of many subjects have been made believers when the proof presents itself.

Many skeptical people on many different subjects have been made believers only after the proof is presented.
If someone living 150 years ago pointed to the moon and said one we will build a machine and fly to that plant, how many people would believe that person or think he's crazy? Food for thought...

The church used to burn people for saying that the earth revolved around the sun. Food for thought...

No I'm not a Bible thumper or even attend church. Theres lots of evidence out there on many subjects, you just have to have an open mind.
My wife cant understand why are home security cameras inside our home record female voices and unexplainable happenings when nobody is home. A video with audio is hard to dismiss...lol

MP . According to some believers only 6000 years. Yup , lots of evidence for many subjects. It is called proof . Just none for a god ..... That's why it is called faith in god...... not proof of god.
