I have participated in 100s of municipal council meetings from cities to rural townships. My experience, although anecdotal, is that on matters of consequence 6 farmers from the same small township are almost never unanimous in their opinions on anything. The reason being it is human nature to disagree and egos won't allow it. To than suggest that there are 100s nay 1000s of elites from all over the planet with different cultures, faith religion etc.. in cahoots with a unified agenda is nonsense. Even if they loosely agree in principle - to actually unify to the degree that they can affect coherent change on the ground will never happen - too many differences and too many egos. Hell just look at this forum - post the question what is the best rifle cartridge for xxxx and you will get dozens of different answers - and we are all hunters with much in common.

You are free to believe whatever you want but i don't buy it. The ancestors of these elites - the Knights Templar just don't have the influence they did 900 years ago, and even they couldn't stand up to one corrupt mediocre French Monarch.

All the virtue signalling nonsense, climate change, COVID and corresponding government policy are just the "issues du jour." No different than energy in the 70s or red commies in the 50s. 20 years from now it will be something new. Additionally if you think the UN could actually pull it off you are naive. They are the most impotent bureaucratic organization ever created. Worked with them extensively in Africa and it is a joke. Never mind how many Newfies you need to do something if you re-phrase it to how many UN staff to change a light bulb the answer is to buy some candles.

The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

The subterfuge that did in the Knights Templar is a lot like we're seeing today. Corrupt governments and duplicitous religions under the guise of "political correctness" if left unchecked is what will eventually destroy us all.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

At least some common sense leaders will not support it

Apologies if I've already posted this but it's worth a repeat if I have.

Personally, I feel the world needs a “reset”. What that looks like afterwards. Hard to say.

People are way too materialistic for starters. In this thread alone there’s people pointing to their paid off houses/cottages. Different topics, different threads some definitely worship the greenback, and their station in life.

Someone with a 6 figure salary, but in debt to their eyeballs. The earth itself, we’re raping and pillaging. Most governments expenses are out of control. Spending more on fluff, and overheads, than the peons are getting. Just like most charities. Where only about 20% is “beef”.

In the west (US/CDA) , the divides between rural/urban are far worse. As is the divide between the haves/have nots and the shrinking middle class. I mean, seriously. Just look at the price of RE in the GTA and Vancouver...Saw something out Vancouver yesterday where they are selling 400 sq foot closets for $360,000. There’s a lot more that could be mentioned.

The WEF is real, as is their “vision” per se. doesn’t make it right, doesn’t make it some nefarious plan, but some are capitalizing on the times/upheaval.

I was thinking about this transfer of wealth from urban area's out to the rural area's with the boost in real estate prices. How does this affect folk's in the rural area's say 5 years down the road. Their humble home in a hamlet is worth $250,00.00 right now but by then its $500,000.00

MPAC does not care if your on a fixed income and retired, they evaluate the property at the current price and suddenly your not able to pay your property taxes. Not your fault your place doubled, you had no intention of moving, then your only option is a reverse mortgage.

I think it was a lot simpler than that a French King who had an empty treasury in cahoots with a Catholic Pope, both of whom were power hungry and jealous.
