Pushing Garneau out with a bunch of meaningless bs on genocide shows how much of a coward he really is. The WE scandal is rearing it's ugly head again with powerful people that won't be silenced. Vaccinated countries are showing positive signs of recovery while we are floundering with increasing infections. Leadership has left the premises.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Australia imported $55.07 billion from China, accounting for 25.8 percent of Australia’s total imports, an increase of 1.4 percentage points over the previous year. China remains Australia’s largest trading partner, largest export destination, and the largest source of imports.
Spin it any way you want .. Turdeau is a wimp, and by turning a blind eye on this vote, he inadvertently turns against and insults the victims ...
He has proven time and time again, that he believes if you just ignore and not say anything, things will go away ... well they don't ... First Nations shut down the rails across our country because he ignored the issue, and now this is just going to get worse.

Gil, for real? You are picking China over Australia??? That's basically what I'm reading between the lines ... to protect your beloved Trudeau, you are basically saying "f" the Australians and what they think ... instead of looking at China and seeing the problem there! Come on man. You are better than this.

Funny though, this same article you posted envies Australia ... the same country you're questioning whether should be our Allie??

"Council of Canadians suggests we look to Australia… Against a backdrop of investor challenges to public health measures (which opposed environmental regulations on coal-fired plants and health regulations on tobacco) they decided to opt out. They took a firm stand and refused to negotiate these radical investment protections in trade deals. They told big business to take out insurance rather than foist the financial risks onto Australian taxpayers."

The Pacific Ocean just happens to connect our two boarders ... I think that is VERY important.

I think you need to read my posts again. Australia has no business criticizing Canada in our relationship with China because they are into a economic relationship with them up to their armpits. They export to China 103 Billion in goods we export 17.54B

So I, am not picking anybody but I am saying its hypocricy for Australia to be picking on Canada.

Yes, but they're right about this vote, and that it's a disgrace to abstain. We cannot deny that truth because we find fault in others.

    Terry,
That would be akin to saying Canadians have no right to criticize the US because they are our largest trade partner. Oh sure, we like the good things that come with that, how dare we say boo...

Every country needs trade, the largest, closest market for Australia is China. And they at least are showing some backbone on the issue.

I do not disagree with you in principle but REALLY what do you suggest other than harsh words which with China will get you no where. Mr O'Toole wants to boycott the Olympics' in Beijing, do you really think that will frighten the Chinese?

Does Canada, Australia, USA and Great Britain have the gut's to take severe action's against China?
