The nitro tires look good but the mud lite is tried tested and proven. Only downfall to the mud lite is that it will wear the center traction bar pretty quick on asphalt.

I'd pass on both. get Kenda Bearclaw 299 tires. About $110 per tire. I've never found anything better for all round performance and wear.

Based on your short list I would recommend the ITP Mud lite.
I had them on my 660 Grizzly and they were a great all around tire.

Gotta agree. I've had a set on my 700 for several years, and still lots of life left. The Mud Lites are good tires too, but use a softer rubber compound that makes them more susceptible to wear when used on hardpack surfaces.

Those two tires have pretty similar tread patterns, so unless the traxion tires are a lot cheaper, I would go with the well known ITPs. I have the Bearclaws on my atv, and I really like them.

I put a set of nitros on last fall before the deer hunt. It was about $50 less for 4 tires than the mud lites. I liked the mud lite lug pattern better but I'm happy with the ones I got. My issue last year was finding a dealer that had all 4, either they had the fronts in stock or the rears, not both.

I had close to 10,000kms over 15 years on my first set of ITP Mud Lites. I run them on everything from logging roads, county roads, dirt roads, farmer's fields, swampy terrain and snow. Never had an issue with them. I just purchased another set for my atv in hopes to get the same amount of KMS and years out of them. Sold the used set on kijiji for $50, I am a fan of the ITP for sure.
