COVID-19 Vaccine to come in pill form?

Not sure if this was posted earlier, if so I missed it, just in case; interesting research. Get us hooked on a quarterly pill instead of injections.

Difference between the Vaccine in Capsule and vaccine in injection:

The respective individual way these two types of vaccines work is what sets them apart. While existing vaccines help create antibodies to the spike protein on the surface of the coronavirus, ImmunityBio's T-cell vaccine targets the globe in the middle — a part scientists say is less prone to mutation.

All three vaccines authorized for emergency use in the U.S. - from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson - work by creating antibodies that neutralize the spike protein that the coronavirus uses to enter and infect human cells.

The pill vaccine aims its ammo at the globe-shaped centre of the virus, which does not often mutate. Dr Soon-Shiong says the value of ImmunityBio's vaccine is that it generates "killer T cells" that target the centre of the coronavirus, which is less prone to mutation. Current vaccines create antibodies to the spiky part of the virus on the surface.

Faster, cheaper, easier to transport and administer:

If the vaccine in capsule form becomes a reality and wins FDA approval for use, it will be faster, cheaper and easier to administer because it wouldn't have to be stored at refrigerator or freezing temperatures.

Though researchers are hopeful the oral T-cell-creating approach may result in greater protection against COVID, the scientists working on the capsule vaccine say they are not aiming at eliminating the shot altogether. They believe capsules and injections working together would be key. So, the jab is not completely gone, a disappointment to those who hate needles.

The oral vaccine is only in experimental stages, and test subjects will be closely monitored for the next 12 months. So do not expect it to be rolling out before the entire process is completed.

The only way to cure Liberal ideology is thru psychotropic drugs to alter their mind-boggling agendas that promote the adoption of unscientific, authoritarian, and sociologically disastrous ideologies.

Both of your statements are BS, the fact is that every single generation in history has said the same thing about kids and a lack of respect. Every grandparent has gone on a rant about how horrible kids are today with no consideration for what they were as youths. This has happened in every generation and will continue in every one into the future. This is the same as music, it is all noise once you hit 40, unless it was the stuff from when you were in your prime.

I am pro vaccine. I got the seasonal influenza shot last November.
I am also current with the shingles shot and hepatitis due to my line of work.
Add tetanus to the list as well and probably forgetting one or two.

I am anti experimental vaccines. Especially when they are pushed as part of an agenda.
I read the labels and if I do not like what I see its a pass for me.

Its like when a used car salesman is pitching the vehicle at you under pressure.
Sometimes best to walk away.

A group of doctors told me last year "We don't know anything about this mRNA vaccine. The microbiologists are in a world of their own. It could be the cure all holy grail or cause cancer in a few years"

This gene therapy drug was initially developed as a treatment for cancer and rushed to market as an emergency use vaccine for covid in the space of a few months. Lets see what happens. There are reports of adverse reactions. You can track in the link below.

The pill is shut the brainwashing TV and video games off. Throw away the smartphone and enjoy the great outdoors.
Roll up your sleeves and help a neighbour mow the lawn, shovel snow, carry groceries for the elderly.

That is what is required to bring things back to normal.
