Vaping and COVID-19
Wondering why the 'younger' generation is more apt to require ICU ventilation when they get sick with Covid ??
While evidence on vaping and COVID-19 infection risk is very limited,
two studies report that
COVID-19 diagnosis was more likely among individuals who vape, suggesting that they are at a
higher risk of COVID-19 infection.
There is evidence that vaping impacts lung function, thereby increasing the risk of COVID-19
infection and/or severity of COVID-19 outcomes.
The negative impacts of tobacco smoke on
respiratory and overall health is well-documented. Individuals who vape and smoke tobacco
cigarettes (dual use) may have an elevated risk due to continued exposure to burnt tobacco.
Use of vaping products may also pose an increased risk of COVID-19 infection through frequent
hand-to-mouth contact and using these devices in social settings or sharing with others. More
research is needed in this area.
Experts comment that aerosols generated by vaping products could be involved in the
transmission of the virus when individuals are in close proximity of others who have been
diagnosed with COVID-19 and are vaping.
The World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledges that the hand-to-mouth action of vaping
may increase the risk of infection.
Additionally, the British Columbia (BC) Centre for Disease
Control recommends staying two metres away from others and vaping outside to reduce the risk
of infection.
Due to the higher risk of complications of COVID-19 among individuals who vape,
they recommend reducing or quitting vaping to lessen the risk.

Coating your lungs with any foreign substance other than fresh air is never wise or a good idea.
It is not specific to only covid but influenza as well.

I just started vaping this week. Try and but out the butts . Smoke way to much can feel it affecting my breathing and price went up again. After 26 years I think it's about time to give them up.
20 bucks a pack of smokes from the store wow. I'm going out big with the last few packs being real brands instead of the cheap native's
Doing ok so far hopefully I'll buy may last pack today no way I'm going to keep paying 20 bucks a pack. Went from about 2 packs a day to about 10 smokes a a day this past week . Going to make the last pack last till the weekend is over. Had to go out with the good kind after smoking that cheap native stuff.
Already feeling the effects I'm not wheezing anymore lol.

might be cheaper to grow your own but wont get you nearly as blasted let alone buzzed. just a fyi from someone whos been for years LOL
for the vaping side of things, ive been smoking cigarettes' since i was in highschool.
i switched to the vape maybe a year ago. difference i see is i smoke the vape when im home. i wont even go out for a smoke when im at home. but when i go out i do smoke cigarettes.
cut down on cigerttes big time. a pack will last me maybe 3 or 4 days now. compared to smoking at least a pack a day.
last 2 times i grown stuff myself it went to the garbage more or less.

Have you considered making tincture? A lot healthier and with side benefits.
