Not possible to hear over burning church's.
I don't support criminals who commit arson and hate crimes as retaliation.

    Happy to correct you.

I clearly said the church erred in its cover ups (it has a massive PR problem). But it is not Catholicism per se that values or promotes child abuse. It is actually one of the best bulwarks against it.
The best part about being a "conspiracy theorist" is not having myocarditis.

"The Church said that between July 1, 2018, and Dec. 31, 2020, it had received 368 reports regarding the sexual abuse of minors."

More anti-Catholic propaganda, perpetuated by the oligarchs and eaten up by wasps to justify their own degeneracy and sexual misbehaviour. Funny, I didn't see the name Epstein in there once...

I can't excuse any guilty priests who betrayed the trust of those they were called to serve, or the bishops who were derelict in exercising proper oversight...there have been good and bad people who made good and bad decisions since the dawn of time. But to suggest that the Catholic church is by essence an institution built on abuse is beyond absurd.

When pedophilia is rampant in an institution and practiced by members in the 1,000's it becomes more than the odd occurrence. It is systemic.
Remember, these people are revered and hold immense power, control and influence over the population.

On a personal note, I have a cousin who was passed around by priests as a toy at the age of 14. This occurred 45 years ago.
Looks like this child abuse is still ongoing to this day in various countries.

Like blaming the Scouting movement or Kids Hockey for all the pervert leaders and coaches that have harmed kids thru the years.

    More on the cover up.
    Still think its made up?

"By 2013, the private eyes had located about 5,300 people who stood accused of physically, psychologically, or sexually abusing students.
Yet where were the prosecutions? Why hasn’t David Lametti, attorney general for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, stuck a special team of elite lawyers to take these abusers to court to get justice beyond the white noise of truth and reconciliation?"

I fail to see your correction. The Catholic Church ran the schools........some of the ordained Catholic priests committed sexual assault on the children. Even recently the Church has hid, or gave shelter to pediophiles so this is not new to the Catholic Church. I fail to see how this is NOT the Churches fault?

Until the Catholic church allows priests to marry, pedophilia will continue. Their laws are even more archaic than our liquor laws.

One of the basic problems in the Catholic Church is the restriction with regard to the marriage of priests - so you have a lot of priests who are homosexuals find a place where they fit in very nicely - they have no desire to marry a woman and have a family but are put into a position where they have access to a lot of kids - they should have banned homosexuals from becoming priests - you can't trust them especially around kids - Catholics are indoctrinated while they are young to look up to the clergy and especially those in the hierarchy like bishops etc. and tend to look away when something bad is said about them - the typical Catholic is a good person who has a sincere desire to please God but the hierarchy of the church are something else - it needs a good house cleaning -

I think this tells you a lot - I had a cousin who never married because he had health issues - he was very rich (millions) and gave a lot of money to the church - when he was in the hospital and on the verge of dying the bishop and a priest who knew my cousin visited my cousin in the hospital - there were hundreds of other catholics in that same hospital but the bishop didn't visit any of them - guess why - I feel sorry for the good priests who are dedicated and live a good life helping others - who are now thrown into a group with a bunch of bums

I known many of gay people in my life...and not one was attractive to kids. This whole "because they're gay" they can't be trusted, is old old ways of thinking. I've seen it a few times in a few posts...and you definitely show your age when statements like that are made.......
    This isn't a test run................Enjoy er'.......
