I have been dealing with Doug and Clarence at Bay City Marine for years. So far I have bought 5 boats from them... everything from tinnies to my 2020 Lund Impact Sport. They are great when you're buying and it doesn't end there. They service everything they sell and they provide great service. Everything they've ever installed on any of my boats... fishfinders, downriggers, radios, trolling motors etc has all been done neatly and looks great. Their attention to detail is good. I'm picky when it comes to my boat.. ( and everything else) and I have always been satisfied with their work. They fit me in when I need work done and its always done on time. I am really glad you had a good experience there. Even though I have moved north I will be returning to Bay City Marine for service and for my next Lund boat..

Supply chain has broken down ... wood, paint, tiles, electronics, spare parts on anything ... what took days, now months.
All thanks to COVID ... I guess that's what happens when everyone stays home for 1 year.

No excuse for this issue. I ordered the swim platform/ladder from Dewildt back in March and it arrived early April........it took from April 9th to June 1st for my installation appointment and then the boat was there for 2 weeks with nothing done until I finally had enough and said keep your platform and picked up my boat on June 12th.
If we were waiting for the platform to come in I can understand it and would not blame anyone but when it came in and I was essentially waiting for 2 months for them to do a 2hr installation........that is crappy SERVICE. Walked into another marina and 7 days later I had it installed. This is NOT a supply chain problem.

After my dealer problems I found a Mercury mechanic who used to work for the dealer for 15 years, then quit in disgust and set up his own repair shop at home. Took 2 different boats to him in a year, and both were repaired within a week of taking them in.
Hosw bout you put up his addy here, let's help refer the good guys

Just google Erie Marine and Small Engine.
He is located in the rural area SE of Welland, east of the Welland canal.

Got my boat to him early summer. Had just sold his house and the plan was to be moving the shop nowish to the new location.
He's a true mechanic not just a replacer so if you can wait well worth it.
Time in the outdoors is never wasted
