With all due respect we have to have BALANCED REPORTNG on this forum, or some folks will think Captain O Toole is doing a good job, I know the truth is hard for you to take but you must stop pretending things are going ok for the Con,s.
I don't think there's any doubt that things are not going as expected for the CPC. O'Toole has been on a country-wide "press-the-flesh" new candidate endorsement tour for the last 2 months most of whom are FNG's nobody knows. With his "Liberal-lite" policy positioning,he's really alienated die-hard Conservatives. The Liberal Party backroom boys may call an election sooner rather than later to,at the least, salvage another minority before Bernier blows the lid off and emerges as the Conservative savior sending O'Toole and the CPC packing..

With all do respect gilly, if you want balance reporting thats fine. This thread was started about liberals so to remain on topic and not hijack it start your own thread on the Tory's and if people want to discuss that they will engage you on it. To stay on topic I'm shocked more rats aren't fleeing the ship with captain justlied at the helm.

I think it would be very boring to have the same old ten or so die hard Conservative voters on here all nodding their heads in agreement on a thread started by them. Political discussion need's back and forth debate on the merits of candidates to keep our democracy healthy. Your reply indicated you might be "gun shy" with respect to debate and scared to discuss these matters.

There's nothing to be scared of Trudeau and his criminal crew of MP's who know their time of stealing from Canadians is done
The only one gun shy is your hero by the looks of it..lol
David Sweet, who has been a Conservative MP since 2006, most recently representing the Ontario riding of Flamborough-Glanbrook. He made the announcement he wasn’t running again after it emerged he travelled to the U.S. over the holidays.
— Phil McColeman, who has been a Conservative MP since 2008 in the riding currently known as Brantford-Brant.
— Peter Kent, who has held the Toronto-area riding of Thornhill for the Conservatives since 2008.
— Bruce Stanton, who has held the Ontario riding of Simcoe North for the Conservatives since 2006.
Now its not as many as the Liberals then again its a smaller party.
Also retiring are Tom Lukiwski — Moose Jaw Lake Centre Lanigan Cathy McLeod — Kamloops Thompson Cariboo Diane Finley — Haldimand Norfolk [has already stepped down]
So leaving port Captain Trudeau with a crew of 155 members loses 12 members overboard and Captain O Toole with a crew of 119 loses 7 members overboard. LOL
So, all those conservatives have like 13 to 15 year tenures in office. They had a choice to leave after 6 years, and didn't.
Those libs have 6 years (minimum needed for pension) ... big difference if you ask me ... they don't see it worthwhile to serve that party not one minute past their pension time goal.

That speaks VOLUMES.
