Default Trudeau's campaign in critical condition

Kinsella has been kind enough to list the flubs and blunders of the Liberal campaign (with links) so far.

It's a great resource to keep on hand.

Justin Trudeau’s campaign? It’s not in the proverbial morgue, yet. But it’s definitely lingering near the Intensive Care Unit. The Last Rites no longer seem impossible.
How can you tell if a political party’s election campaign is dying?

The worst maybe yet to come:
I thought JT was going to find out the effective function of real military assault firearms, when it comes to the crowd abandon at the Kabul Airport, it appears the instrument of choice is likely to be bombs. Death to those who would offer to support the infidels.

“Heappey confirmed that intelligence of a possible suicide bomb attack by IS militants had become "much firmer".

Definitely a target rich environment…..I’m surprised one of the panes hasn’t been taken out by a “deserted” missile…..

All that's holding them back was the agreement that the US would be gone by Aug 31....I think that is largely why Biden will NOT renegade on that promise. The Taliban have already stated..."if the U.S. is not gone buy the 31st they will not be happy"

I think the concern now is ISIS….

As long as the Taliban is seeking acceptance as the legitimate rulers of Afghanistan, I think you are right, they will use ISIS to do their dirty work and try to claim plausible deniability.

Well that didn't take long...85 dead and the Taliban have nothing to say. I see they have already pulled out the proverb:

“We will respond with force and precision at our time, at the place of our choosing,” Biden said. “These ISIS terrorists will not win. We will rescue the Americans; we will get our Afghan allies out, and our mission will go on. America will not be intimidated.”

It would seem that the current gathering ground for the Taliban and ISIS is Kabul. I have to wonder if Biden has his heart set on such an idea. Why he doesn’t just drop airforce divisions to surround Kabul and move in with a military assault and clean the nest of snakes out before they have an opportunity to slither away into hiding.

The city is huge..population of almost 4.5 million....and they live like rats, in every nook and cranny. Would be like trying to surround the GTA.

Far too many countries have tried and failed to civilize these people. It can't be done. Their religious beliefs and laws are beyond the understanding of Western culture. Trying to resolve their internal conflicts with force is futile.
