Figures from the Ontario Fur Managers auction from this past season are nothing short of abysmal making spending countless hours prepping pelts for market a complete waste of time. It's too bad companies like CG feel it necessary to acquiesce to pressure from lunatic fringe orgs instead of standing up to the bully tactics, but,it's the way of the world these days.

Preach it,brother. There's many other companies that produce first class winter gear without getting enbroiled in the trendy, politically correct horse shyte. That's where my money will be going.

Too late for me, mine will last me forever. Just make sure to pass your sentiment on to them, maybe if enough people do that and they start losing profits they'll come to their senses but I still doubt it. What they should have done is offer their coats in both versions, with or without real fur but I guess they're too scared.

The ironic thing is that it won't save any coyotes lives...
Guys will still shoot and trap them. They may not bother skinning them now.

Do any of you know a manufacturer who DOES use fur to line and/or trim their garments? I know I wear my rabbit lined trapper's hat ice fishing and there's nothing else like it.
Google searches don't seem to narrow it down much. It would be good to know where I could get utility type clothing that uses natural furs if it exists.
