What are folks going to purchase for the upcoming ice season. I personally do not need anything. I have accumulated tackle, portable huts, travel means and heaters over the years, but curious as to what others are planning to purchase this coming season.

Same for me although I need a new ladle. Lost my good one when I skipped on open pressure crack last year on Nipissing on the closer. So that will be a whopping $30 for the large Frabill one with the 30 inch ruler built into the handle.

I use Swede Bore hand augers (6 and 8 inch) attached to my drill via the Clam Plate Adaptor. Always worked so far.

Going to pick up a lithium battery for my finder and upgrade the 6 Auger to a 8 inch fin bore. They seem to cut well with the drills so may as well give it a go.

I'm heading north near the end of November might be a skim by then..

Might upgrade my fish finder. Maybe some jig heads and some plastics. Just have to replace from the summer fun we had.
Fingers crossed for good early ice this year. One trip booked for March and if I get my way we will do a January trip

Heading to Nip again? Supposedly the slot is changing this year to 2 fish 40 to 45cm.

I'd like to get some tracks for my kodiak if I could afford it. Besides that I pretty much have everything I need for ice fishing.

Thinking of getting a Ion auger. Time to retire the old Jiffy.
After stopping in at the Polaris dealer and seeing the price for the new RMK’s I put that idea on hold in a hurry. lol

I got an ATV this year, so wont be pulling the stuff myself anymore, this will change the game for sure.
I still have to come up with a way to connect the sled to the ATV though, as ill have to pull it on paved road for about a block till I get to my Ice access. [from parents cottage, bubblers on dock wont let the ice freeze]
