Going to take dog out see if she can find it grounds soft likely buried I have one blury trail cam pic of buck walking away after shot

Took dogs out no bolt found but female found first blood 23.8 yd that means my first shot with safety on was 12yd or less
Male dog went from first blood following blood trail to where deer crashed 50yd need to use dogs more

It's a whole different Deer world in S/W Ont...no wonder the successes rate hovers around 60%.....I think its around 20% here in Eastern Ont. Never seen deer in those numbers in the 25 yrs of hunting here.

So I went out this morning buried gut pile hide and legs in hole covered it back up. Hour later I had deer tracks on new dirt
