Finally went for a walk around my hunting property. Found 8ish good ground scraps in the normal spots. Time to hit the tree stand. Found one buck track that looked really good. I should have one up in the shed next week.

Finally cooling down as well. I've been out 3 times and it's been pretty slow!

I'm hoping to find the same result, I'm off next week and haven't touched the spot I intend to hunt yet this season.

snuck out for an evening sit in my blind. two does saunter out 150 yards away where my other blind it set up. one puts her head in the blind. i chuckle and they wander off. once it starts getting dark i start making my way back to the house. they are standing out in the next field at 70 yards. put my scope on but safety stays on. too far. i try to get their curiosity to get the better by bleating to them but they white flag me and dance around in the field and head back where they came thru. rather unfazed as they didnt get a good look at me.
all excited now! full moon baby!

You're really on a roll with the thoughtful insight as of late.

The full moon is actually tonight.
