Time change flop
I’m sitting in my truck waiting to go out for deer opener. I had a truck pass by super slow, then reverse and roll down his window. He asks me what time it is. I let him know it’s 6:30. He laughs and says his phone says 5:30. I told him the news was saying bell and Telus customers were having phone issues with the time change. We both have a laugh and off he went.
Good luck and stay safe.

Isn’t nov 7 time change day? Imagine using your phone as an alarm clock and they can’t get the time right

They need to change to year round EDT.
This business of changing the clocks in fall, so we can come home to pitch black darkness with the sun setting at 4:30 pm is pure nonesense.
I'd argue it costs us more money.
DST makes sense year round for us, especially in the winter ... most of the population is waking up at 7 am anyhow ... and coming home at 5 pm ...
so in that window, we aren't switching our lights off for 1 fewer hour, with DST on or off ... so why not at least have the sun set an hour later in winter.
It's depressing enough with the cold crappy weather ...
