Was a light snow over here this morning. Didn't feel as cold as yesterday.
Was having a hard time trying to spot them in the bush with some spots snowy and some not. Do I look for white or brown! [emoji28]

I went in before first light to where I saw the trio last night, stayed until lunch. It was very very quiet, kind of eerie actually. Nothing was moving,no shots fired anywhere. I'm heading back out in an hour with the young lad and staying until dark.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Yup been like that today and yesterday actually. Was lucky enough to move out the bush and onto the tree line and caught the doe in the field at sundown

I just got home about an hour ago. We almost were washed out with a sudden rainstorm that poured buckets for an hour and then cleared out. Needless to say,we saw nothing. I'm pretty sure the Deer were driven into the swamps. There was quite a few hunters walking the bush until it started to rain. Back at it tomorrow PM. It'll likely take that long for everything to dry out. LOL

Seen doe and fawn tonight that bedded down in front of me for an hour in the middle of the field. Never seen that before. We had 2 blizzards go threw that you couldn't see for a few moments, then sun would come out. Took this pic of her before she got back to the pines.

Awesome picture songdog.
Yes the weather is very weird here indeed. If I recall I'm hunting not that far away from you right now. I decided to go sit the bush line were I caught the doe yesterday with the yearling. Once I stepped out the bush at about 540 one of those blizzards hit. Couldn't see anything LOL.
Has anyone seen any bucks chasing does yet?
I'm hunting very close to a swamp/ in swamp i havent seen or heard anything so far. Granted the weather is super iffy too.
