I just had both front ball joints done at a cost of $1700 for the truck.

Actually wasn't worried about myself but miss the truck and thank god my kid wasn't with me. But nothing came through the cab. Thank goodness the straps held on to the ATV. I have the big ones good for 3000 pounds each and four straps holding it, didn't even move nor did the canoe. But a really nice weekend was ruined.

I still have to do the drivers side as the insurance only did the side that broke and really if you do one side you should do the other.
The drivers side MOOG upper control arm with Ball joint is 110.00 and lower is 260.00 Inner and Outer Tie rod is 150.00, Alignment 100.00 . So e about 560.00 +tax = 632.80. So yeah both side like you did easily 1700.00. I'm thinking I will do this myself and save on the labour.

I will see what I feel like this winter. The lower control arm weighs 40 pounds and laying on your back trying to put that in place doesn't feel like fun anymore. Will see.

Yes I deal with Auto Shack and CAPS on Old Innes road.

Auto Shack close their store on closed their location on Bank Street about 3 years ago now.

I don't want no name for the truck I want quality and MOOG is probably the best unless you go high performance.

Over the years I have learn that for off road you want very good quality.

I also know a few people who deal with Rock Auto in the US and I have thought about doing business with them as well.

My buddy uses 'Rock Auto' exclusively, brand name parts delivered to your door and most time 1/2 price of retail.

Wow.......that crazy! Good that you are covered but bad because there are not may trucks available and those that are available are very expensive. For the last 3 oil changes I have been greeted by a salesman looking for my truck as a trade in - until I tell him what I want for it - LOL
