Ugly Saturday morning coyote
Got to the farm and setup a little after first light. Setup my caller and decoy about 50 yds in front of me and called for about 20 minutes. Nothing showed up so I unloaded, went and picked up my caller and decoy. Got back to the tree-line, put my gear into my backpack. Thinking I better go relieve myself before I make my way back to the truck. So as I begin to do the deed, I look up and about 350 yds away or so, I see a coyote walking across the field. I finish up doing the deed quick, grab my gun, reload and sit back down. I grab some hand-calls and begin screaming out dying rabbit sounds. Coyote takes his time coming in stopping often to mouse in the field. I am thinking maybe he caught my movement when I was relieving myself but not sure so I call very little and do it softly (not loud at all). It took him a good 5 minutes to make it into the field I was in, at about the 40 yd mark I scream out a HEY. He stops with him already in the crosshairs he goes down.
Not a very pretty coyote actually a bit ugly and rough....

keep shooting them, they messed up my deer hunt this morning. One went by in the field about 400yds out then an hour later my cell camera in the middle of bush goes off, and there is one going back in forth in front of camera, looks like he was missing a patch of hair on one side.

Has too much time on their hands
Love these reports, they were so helpful for me when learning. You were my set-up bible.
