Is this the same defense lawyer who is almost in contempt of court by demanding the trial Judge exclude the presence of black pastors in the same public courtroom.
Can you imagine a defense lawyer who is so inept that he would try and have the case narrative be about race, when the prosecutor has not used race in the trial but has focused her attention on the actions of the accused and their weak story about self defense.
Three WHITE men armed with firearms, pretending they are COPS and making a citizens arrest on an unarmed jogger, who happened to be born as a black man.
These three COWARDS did not even have the grounds to make any arrest.

That's what they said when we got into our accident lol. We solved it before them too bad we were still not allowed to see the video.

An art installation in the shape of a casket with the names of Black people who have been killed in incidents involving police violence was also placed outside the courthouse. Malik Barlow, a marketing consultant speaking for artist Darrell Kelley, said the casket is a "metaphor," and a way for the artist to exercise his First Amendment rights.

Smitty….he wasn’t “just carrying a firearm”…..he took a loaded firearm to the scene of a riot, with the intention of intervening. As I said…sitting on a front porch to defend property with that firearm is perfectly justified…what he did was go looking for trouble…..and just to be clear I blame everyone including the police and civilian authorities…they have jobs to do and failed.
I’m surprised that you don’t see it this way, but I guess we’ll have to disagree.

I just figured he wanted to make sure I knew he was ignoring me. Why I have no idea. I won’t be losing any sleep over it.

Yep I disagree with you on that one. I don't see anything that makes me assume like you do that he went looking for trouble, simply legally carrying a firearm like many other people there doesn't imply that to me. What I do believe is that if those goons hadn't attacked him those altercations wouldn't have happened. He certainly wasn't the instigator like he would have been had he been looking for trouble as you keep assuming, but without evidence.
Btw Mark, It sure wouldn't have made any sense to bring an unloaded firearm to a riot now would it, just sayin'

1 thing your missing is that it wasn't his gun and he wasn't legally allowed to have one apperantly. Judge didn't allow any of that into the trial though.
I do agree when looking at this knowing the American laws that it was self defense at the end of the day there though.
