Yep,pretty much. Even the masks we see people wearing aren't being worn properly not that it matters, but,if it makes people feel like they're "doing their bit",have at 'er.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Yea that's about it, a placebo effect..totally worthless but then again, they were meant to be purely symbolic. One of the greatest successes of government at social engineering.

They do nothing, but everyone wears them because they were told too and only a few question why...

People can choose from whom to take advice. Here your choice is between some anonymous jackass on Rumble vs. the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, National Academy of Sciences, Stanford University and Cleveland Clinic.

We have wore a mask for about a year now and it's still spreading. We had lockdowns and it still spread .

The only proper mask is an n95 the rest are not fitted properly and leaky like the shot.

From the cleveland study...and if you can't see what is wrong with this "scientific" (ha ha ha ha) approach, you probably shouldn't be participating in discussions about the usefulness of masks. Using a cell phone to try to record particles 0.1 microns? Size reference at link: https://www.aerosol.mech.ubc.ca/what...-transmission/

Are there actually scientific minded people out there that believe you can control 0.1 micron particles which can float any distance in the air over their approximately 66 minute half-life with a medical mask??? The virus is airborne. That was known from the start by anyone that worked SARS. This has also been recognized for a year now in the wider medical community by anyone with an IQ above room temperature.

"While the Duke study was actually focused on coming up with a cost-effective way of evaluating how effective a type of mask is, it was able to collect data on 14 different types of masks using that method.

The method worked like this: a mask-wearing tester spoke through an opening into a small, dark box that was shot through with an expanded laser beam. A cell phone camera recorded the droplets spread by the speaker that were caught by the laser and a computer algorithm counted the number of droplets. "

They still are all paired with other measures to reduce the chances of infections.

Wear a mask wash your hands stay 6 ft get vaccinated and you still end up with covid.

How many accually wear it properly?

A mask alone used by the general public has little effect.

I have talked to close to a thousand people since the pandemic without a mask on . I have kids that play and hang around other kids I drive them around with no mask on take them to the mall.
They go to school and I drive their friends without a mask. I live in town that has the lowest vaccine rate in York region.

So in the end a mask can help But it doesn't stop the spread.
It just reduces the chance if you wear a mask wash you hands get vaccinated and keep away from others.

Sure lots of things can help reduce the chances.

Heck kids are still sharing everything with each other passing the vape around sucking off the same bong lol. What's a mask going to do ?

How about 99% ....just sit in the car while the wife goes in shopping and watch the mask fiasco unfold...

They take it out of pocket with bare hands..spreading any of the virus that was captured on the surface at the last stop onto their hands. Then walk right by the hand sanitizer station, grab a cart and head into the store to handle as much stuff as they can...

They come back out...tear the mast off, that captured any of the viruses in the store, getting them all over your hands and stuff it into their pocket. Then they rub their face (especially the nose) because the mask was bothering their face the whole time they were wearing it.

    Yea they work great ...HaHa..
