The thing about Double P, as has always been the case, is he is long on rhetoric, and short on solutions. So sure make him the leader, and watch the electorate run away from the conservatives again. But if you guys are cool with handing the Liberals another election win, who am I to stop you. Besides I look forward to the skeletons in his closet seeing the light of day.

Wouldn’t a decent person care what most people think of them?

If I may add to your list canadaman30. I would like to add a complete waste of oxygen and it's a total shame he is taking up perfectly good skin that some poor burn victim could be using.

Once again back to slinging mud, its ok lads the jobs getting done ,the Liberals, Bloc and NDP are at work, you guys are the outliers floundering around, supporting an outdated political party that has no plans and no future and cannot even find a leader.

How can anyone be happy that so many Canadians are suffering?

So its easy to complain but what would this guy actually do if he ever got into office as a practical matter. What is his plan to rein in deficits, would he cut off Covid funding to all, or just businesses or just individual's. Its an unknown like how many Conservative MP,s have the vaccine.
Well, I guess there are two points ... with O'Toole, he needs to stay in check with the platform that the Party creates ... so for any platforms, we should refer to O'Toole at this stage.
If Pierre is in charge, that will change ... he would be the one that then has to convey platforms and policies.

However, the second point is ... I think he is clear when he speaks about what should happen ... stop printing money, do not raise taxes, create an environment where people want
to work and earn an income ... I don't think it's fair to say he only complains and does not offer solutions.

Well these are just notions at the point in time, if he stopped printing money what would happen? If he stopped raising taxes, what then?

I agree that all the parties should create an environment where people want to work. But policies would have to be changed..

I will give you an example, there are thousands of retiree's out there from the baby boom generation. Most all of then worked their entire lives, showed up to work on time, were interested in their jobs and were happy to work.

Many of them are now bored at home, could or would work part time or even full time BUT THE SYSTEM actually punished them for doing so.
The money they earn would be clawed back from reduced OAS payment's, there would be a cost to go back to work, gas, lunches.
So in the end they would actually be working for nothing, travelling time included.

Why not give seniors an incentive to work, they would get their OAS and on the work earnings be taxed nothing or at a very low rate.

Result happier seniors with a purpose in life, less mental health problems, probably be healthier and less need to ramp up immigration.
