More than 80% have 2 shots, they make up about 50% of the people in hospital, the other 20% make up the other 50%, so therefore the vaccinations are helping to keep people out of hospital, period. No it is not stopping the spread, it is stopping the worst symptoms. No vaccination passports will not work, I have said this many many times.

The government will now have to limit the child's access to school etc. to only vaccinated kids, thru the use of coercion, to get further participation.
It is the parents choice, they are the guardians for the kids, I want it to stay that way and not be the choice of the government.

There are two ways to reduce your chances of being made sick by or dying from the virus. The first is immunization, the second is being locked down. Vaccination passports do keep the unvaccinated out of many public locations reducing their chances of becoming infected and being a disproportionate burden on the health care system.

But the vaccinated are predominantly the most infected ones showing up in the hospital...they're the biggest risk of spreading the versus and yet not being isolated:

But, the problem is...what if vaccination becomes a mandate to attend school....takes the 'choice' away from the parents..

Anti-vaxxers are at a greater risk of ending up in the ICU. Isolating them is protecting them and reducing the burden on the health care system.

As you point ...in regards to sheer numbers...the vaccinated are becoming the main source of infections (10,000+ a day) and the unvaccinated are a diminishing number as few of them will be left once the holdouts get Omicron. ..that is why the numbers are reversed from only a week ago.

I wonder why they aren't reporting who is dying according to vaccination status, the PHO site also seems to be having technical difficulties with their case rate by age group since Friday. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data?fbc...TwRAmZbZy9a5SA
