You can either choose to unite as millions of Canadians of all ages, races, occupations, and political leanings have done...or you can slander these people as violent white nationalist racist anti-vaxxer terrorists as our PM has done.

Simple.

You are the one who is attacking this protest and attempting to delegitimize it, so the onus is on you to define what you mean and why you have a problem with it.

Are you saying you hate truck drivers? You don't support the working class? You think all these people are violent? You want them fined or jailed? You agree with QR code passports and other non-scientific mandates?

Yeah cause if I show up to a party and there are two clear Nazis there I don't wait around to ask everyone else if they are a Nazi I just quietly leave because I don't want to associate with Nazis or anyone who is comfortable doing so.

I support truck drivers, my father is a long haul truckers. Guess where he is right now? Out trucking. Delivering goods to places so people can have items in stock. By George he is even double vaccinated. I'm a former member of the armed forces and work in a factory. I have literally signed up to die for what I believe in. I was not asked to make that sacrifice but I signed on the line and was ready to make it.

The continuation of our democratically governed country. A place where people from all around the world can come to and make life for themselves. Our system has flaws and doesn't always work correctly but overall it works quite well. We have low rates of violence in our country and generally speaking our quality of life is top notch. Part of keep the country safe is having a professional military ready to do what the public asks of them.

Thank you for trying cast shade on my dedication to our country though. It's always refreshing to have someone question your intentions. And yes,I would gladly die to insure you have the right to question them.

It's not a few minor faults, it's assaulting ambulances and threatening to gang rape women. Maybe you don't have a mother so that last one doesn't bother you any?

What "good" is coming out of this?

The police are taking a different approach to this then police forces normally do. By that I mean they aren't getting getting dressed up as Roman's locking shields and lock stepping their way through downtown. Time will tell if the American/Toronto method is better or the soft handed Ottawa approach is better.

I don't know if Pat King so I can't say that I don't like him although I highly suspect I wouldn't given what I do know about him, but I keep an open mind. Maybe the guy is wicked fun at the bar I dunno.

The organization and execution of the event are what I dislike. 8 million dollars raised through go fund me and they can't afford port a potties or fuel? Where did all those foreign investment dollars come from? Surely there are no foreign powers who contribute to destabilization in North America, right?

People are quick to talk about propaganda and media control but fail to see the bad actors on both sides.
