The continuation of our democratically governed country. A place where people from all around the world can come to and make life for themselves. Our system has flaws and doesn't always work correctly but overall it works quite well. We have low rates of violence in our country and generally speaking our quality of life is top notch. Part of keep the country safe is having a professional military ready to do what the public asks of them.

Thank you for trying cast shade on my dedication to our country though. It's always refreshing to have someone question your intentions. And yes,I would gladly die to insure you have the right to question them.

You'll have to forgive me but I'm really left questioning why I spent my day replying to your post because it's just not adding up for me. The people in Ottawa right now are advocating peacefully for the continuation of our democratically controlled country that has been interrupted. Our quality of life has been going down the crapper along with our military since I've been alive. I just asked a question there was no shade cast on your dedication but to be honest with you that's a great gesture but if you can't recognize that we are under attack right now from within I'm good I got it cause right now your in the way.

Yeah cause if I show up to a party and there are two clear Nazis there I don't wait around to ask everyone else if they are a Nazi I just quietly leave because I don't want to associate with Nazis or anyone who is comfortable doing so.

I support truck drivers, my father is a long haul truckers. Guess where he is right now? Out trucking. Delivering goods to places so people can have items in stock. By George he is even double vaccinated. I'm a former member of the armed forces and work in a factory. I have literally signed up to die for what I believe in. I was not asked to make that sacrifice but I signed on the line and was ready to make it.

Hard to have millions of Canadians come whe portions of them are being told they are not welcome either through action or inaction.

So you're reasoning is that thousands of people should have either:

1) physically removed the supposed nazi (can you imagine the headlines from the msm if they did that?..."group of nazis turn violent!" lol) -- they would be handing it to them on a silver platter

2) immediately vacated the area so as not be seen in the remote vicinity as this person

This is beyond ridiculous. When Trudeau's thugs are out to slander and silence these people they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Did you get any of Trudeau's 45 million to run damage control in this thread?

If you support truck drivers, then wouldn't you agree with what they are saying? Thousands have been crippled by these policies. Many of those standing up for freedom here are also double jabbed -- that's a total non-issue and none of my business whether you and your father took the jabs or not. These people are also putting themselves on the line for something they believe in. As someone who served in the military, you should be able to relate.

Someone would have to show me an airtight legal argument for how our democracy has been "interupted". On a personal level I want that sock puppet out of office asap however we had our shot in Sept and the right split the vote to the PPC and screwed us out of a little slack in the collar for the next 4 years.

Our country has been going down the ter ever since capitalism go the green light via "trickle down economics" from Reagan. Turns rich people are greedy and don't trickle down. Meanwhile China figured out how make capitalism work for them, and bought all the debt and housing over here. We could buy it all back ourselves but we sold all our natural resources to made into stuff and sold back to us at rediculous profit margins.

I have to give praise to Chief of Police Peter Sloley.

I think he has done a stellar job with this demonstration, he is cool headed and was excellent in a interview this afternoon on the telly fielding dozens of question's from the public and reporters. He worked in Toronto and was in the running for the Chiefs job that went to Billy Blair.

You probably could not find a better man for this job at this time in Ottawa's history.

I would expect the entire crowd to shout insults at them until the police where forced to intvene or until they left of their own accord. I have seen this strategy work before. Not really difficult to get someone to leave when you have thousands of people yelling at you to do so.

A silly argument is where you imagine two bad solutions and try to make somone pick between them as if those were the only two solutions in the world.

Also, no as a former member of the armed forces I can NOT sympathize with occupying a domestic city to attempt to oust the democratically elected leader. In fact it's the exact opposite. I was mildly upset to learn that members of my former unit were not spooling up.

This might come as a big surprise to you guys but when a country's own government turns on it's own citizens and deliberately attacks it's own fundamental infrastructure and economics while imposing tyrannical mandates, censorship, and suppresses their fundamental rights with or without foreign or corporate influence it is being attacked from within. This is happening all over the world is it not?
