You guys seem to think our freedom was granted to us by this government and is theirs to take away at their will. We have a thing called the Canadian Bill of Rights which protects those unalienable rights. So now I ask you, when in history have we ever quarantined healthy people? When has humanity ever sacrificed their young to protect the aged? Never that's when. You want to know why? Because it makes absolutely zero sense and defies logic. The science is in. The lockdowns provided a little benefit of saving 0.2% a few years or months of an already lived life those of which plus a majority would have gladly traded that time to spend with their families and to not have die alone while destroying millions of lives and business never mind the grief real and economic. Where's the logic?

The safety of the experimental vaccine is neither here nor there as it is still experimental and one's right to choose wether or not they want the medical intervention is protected under the Canadian Bill of Rights as well as the Nuremburg code. You claim there is choice but with it comes consequence, that is not choice that is coercion, a breach of those rights and an offence under the code. However the science is in on the vaccines and they are NOT as advertised and do NOT meet the criteria of at least 50% efficacy to continue their emergency use authorization and really should be stopped, but go ahead boost away if it makes you feel safer but don't force the rest of us to participate in the farce and assault our right not too. Our rights don't end where your fear begins. The mandates have caused more death than not with delayed surgeries and diagnosis with the closure of 1200 hospital beds in Ontario alone. Again where's the logic? The logic lies in the science, the science is in and it isn't in the propaganda you're being fed by the government and the media. Follow the logic, the science and the math, agreeing to suspend our rights for two weeks to flatten the curve does not equal two years of house arrest and a passport for some to exercise theirs while assassinating other's. Hence the the ultimatum: End the mandates or step aside so that someone else can in order to restore logic to our democracy. Government only works if the citizens allow them to be governed, Trudeau has been offered a more than fair deal than what his government has offered it's citizens with these mandates. Stop the madness! The time has come as the science is in. I'm more than sure the majority agrees. The fringe minority living in fear are welcome to believe whatever they want and make their own medical decisions, they are not welcome to punish the rest of us for our choices.

Sharon is right, it is a very well articulated post outlining one side of the coin. I only try to outline the other side to the best of my ability. While one side of a coin can’t see the other, it is important to remember it is still the same coin.

They should be spared the shame of having to admit they were wrong, or that they might have been bamboozled, etc. It's ok. We all make mistakes. They should not be bullied or harassed if they choose to continue complying with thoroughly-debunked measures.

But to suggest this isn't a worthwhile protest, or that these somehow aren't real workers, or that they are all "privileged", or to celebrate the fact that big gov & far left big tech colluded to steal the money raised is an absolute scandal. Anyone thinking like this would be much happier living in a place like China.

There is a lot of misplaced resentment and frustration towards the convoy supporters, like they are somehow the ones who stripped your rights away for the past 2 years.

Millions of people are fed up, and they have woken up. Better late than never.

I believe you might be confused. I doubt highly that anyone is pro-mandate. The unlawfulness going on in Ottawa and the demands made by the protester organization are merely childish in nature. Please explain how the measures have been debunked?

I personally don’t resent the truckers, I think it paints a few of them in a bad light, but I think the city of Ottawa residents aren’t fans.

I honestly think there is a healthy mix of pro protester versus anti protester. Heck even the truckers association today said they are not involved in this and that their members are busy working to bring goods in and around Canada.

The courts will rule on the legality of all this, to jump the cue in a demanding way undermines the democratic process and legal process. If you want legitimacy let it come to you by way of legality. If you are right you will be vindicated. The government was voted in democratically. You might not like it, but that’s democracy. You live in a free and democratic country. The protests are proof of your freedom and democratic rights.


Where is your science? Provide proof that the vaccine is not or has not worked to prevent serious Illness. Good doctors and nurses were out today counter protesting. They see first hand, what you and I don’t. They are the frontline. They save lives.

An ultimatum is so very un-Canadian. Maybe that’s why I’m seeing so many trump flags and signs and American flags at our CANADIAN protests. Too much media influence and too much pride for the protesters to walk this one back.

As the protests still continue so does the abomination of rights even admittingly by OPS chief himself, the assassination of the GoFundMe by the "democratic" P.M. as well as his and the media's hallucinogenic portrayal of the truth. Most might say that it is ones civic duty to defeat a tyrannical government, this is about as peaceful as it happens.

The science is out there and has been discussed to the point of nauseousness in the covid forum where you can find links to the science if you don't get it well I guess you just don't get it, discussing it any further would be nothing more than a waste of time and exercise in futility. The goodness of those doctors remains to be seen as I'm sure they might be more than a little scared at this point. You keep mentioning talk to your doctor, I would encourage you on your next visit to ask him how much he/she gets paid for the visit and how much he/she gets paid when a covid vaccine is administered.

The evisceration of the Bill of rights is far more un-Canadian than any ultimatum put forth in their protest of a tyrannical governments mandates. It would seem you fail to see the hypocrisy in this as Canadians more often than not engaged in peace keeping missions around the globe with our southern cousins ensuring the freedom of other nations against tyrannical regimes together. The Trump flag represents hope for all the world against these global tyrants that have penetrated our governments globally. I also believe it was Trump that coined the phrase "fake news" which also seems fitting as they've lost about as much credibility as this government to honestly report the truth which is why many of us that know the truth follow boots on the ground media and Dr.'s & Nurses that risked it all to get the truth out and chose not to follow those hitched at the citizen's tax dollar trough and are afraid for their job and of going to jail. By the way I'm still waiting for the CNN report of the protest that you promised us a few pages back.
