This will end slowly. Area cordoned off, anyone who leaves doesn't get back in, no supplies in, tow or cut up abandoned trunks. Wait 'em out. Mop up the few remaining holdouts as required.
I heard the new fund had over 3 million in funding this afternoon lol. People are doubleing and quadrupling down now it also can take funds from world wide.
Haven't you ever heard of making history. These kind of things can happen it has happened and is happening..will it be a success who knows its like a once in a century storm.
Now with omicron is should be a no Brainer to end the mandates. A third dose how long is it good for ? Do we keep these mandates in permanently and make decisions for everyone when the company take no responsibility. Nope.

The mandates won't be permanent. Ford had already set out a timetable to lift the "vaccine passport" in Ontario pre-Omicron but the new variant set the plans back. The mandates will be lifted on the government's schedule and not in response to the demands of protestors.

Trudeau won’t resign or be forced to resign he’s coming out smelling like roses not sure who his handler is. But if it’s Trudeau himself kudos to him
I’ve never voted any thing other than conservative provincial or federal in my life. But if there was a election Soon ?
I seen him ruling 10+ years because of this protest sad

Well I think the Chief of Police Peter Sloly has made it very clear this siege as he call's it is beyond the Police to respond to as its unprecedented. He believes the Police are the public and the Public are the Police. (Sir Robert PEEL)
So they are not going to try and move the demonstrators and even if they did for a short time, they would be back.
I think the best FACE SAVING method for an end to this would be for the Prime Minister to convene a meeting with ALL PROVINCIAL PREMIERS IN CANADA and hammer out what they are going to do to end these restrictions.
Once that is done you would probably see an end to this, if its not done there will be no end.
You have SIX Conservative Premiers involved here from across the country, between them and Candice Bergen and Pierre Poilievre they can make it happen.

Probably the most rational idea. I think a time line might calm emotions.

I’ve been saying that for awhile. The situation has always been fluid based on pertinent information. It’s not likely these mandates can last forever. I just think some people are suffering covid fatigue more than others.

They are asking for all council members in the surrounding areas and mayor to come join them tomorrow for discussions.
Will they join them ? They have an open invitation since they just put them in a state of emergency.
Possibly another convoy coming?

I think that was more like a plea for armed forces intervention. We are grateful to them for respecting their Oath, Peter Sloly and the OPS not so much. Trudeau, Sloly, Pound sand.- Top Brass CAF

Why would it be up to Bergen and Pollievre to clean up Trudone and Tams mess?

Wow is that really you lol.
Convoy just put out a memo asking for another run of trucks lol.
Also they want to talk to who ever will talk to them tomorrow open invitation to all council members and the mayor.
Yes the provincial leaders should be in discussions it's gone Canada wide and growing.
They also said for all the truckers to stand strong without confrontation. No resistance let them do what they are going to . Some reports of a few military personnel this evening. Also a rumor of the town buying tow trucks. They want the city to stop spending so much since they come without violence. They want it to stay peaceful they say there is no need for the heavy police pressure lol.
Cheers this is just the beginning.

Well Bergen was asking Trudeau to meet with the truckers and she has shown support for them, as has Pollievre so it would be a sign that the views on the Conservative side are being RESPECTED.
If you take the view that the entire mess is caused by Trudeau and Tam, then you simply let the six Conservative Premiers off the hook for the part they played in the lock downs.
So in IMHO if they all played a part in the problem they should all be part of a solution.
