Not sure if it’s true, but 680news is reporting one of the protester organizers (barber?)posted a TikTok video saying they might be leaving Ottawa and moving to Toronto.

Ottawa protestors are bracing for scenarios similar to 2010 Toronto G20 and police kettling, said convoy organizers in a news conference.

“The rumors are that riot police are on their way to Ottawa. The numbers could range anywhere from 18,000 to 3,000,” said Chris Barber in a video late Monday night.

“We can’t confirm but we just need to make sure everybody knows this.”

Tim, a head organizer of the Convoy said police kettling is trapping many protestors in a space with no escape.

Kettling would see the trapping of protesters in an area they can’t escape from then moving in.

He said for supporters across the country to be watching out for signs this may occur in Ottawa.

“If this does happen we will be absolutely peaceful. We are cautiously optimistic that it is not going to happen, but if it does we are prepared and really not phased by it,” said Tim.

“We have concerns that a large number of police will be here, and they are setting up a processing center out in Landsdowne.”

The convoy organizers said to Canadians to watch for if all communication stops out of Ottawa, and if it happens to come to the capital to support.

“If there’s a media blackout of everyone you’re connected to out in Ottawa, that’s your trigger that you know something’s up,” said Tim.

Hamilton was hit too.

I supposed you didn't police the G7 meeting either or remember this from a recent an anti-Doug Ford protest.

Yes I did police the legislature during the Mike Harris so called common sense revolution. I was there at the front doors after they were breached by left wing protesters who had just before broken through the front doors and set fires on the office desk's.

Actually there was a photograph taken of me with my tonfa stick over my shoulder facing the crowd pointing the way out. I had just smacked a demonstrator on the shoulder to convince him to drop a tonfa stick he had pulled from the officer next to me.

Anyway a very thin blue line of 20 foot patrol officers saved the day and prevented the building being burned down.

There had been a tactical mistake made by our S/Sgt to send home 12 mounted officers early to save some money, after they left the demonstrators surged the building.

So I do agree with you that would be the 1% of the hundreds of demonstrations that were violent, but these were not funded from outside, many were union organized or teacher organized.

I did not police the G7 as I was then in a plainclothes job.

I hope you are not trying to compare that Doug Ford demonstration with an almost empty lawn to what is happening now?

I do not think the PM has written his own demise, in fact the longer this goes on and shortages appear in grocery shops he will not get the blame the insurrectionist's will be getting the blame.

The only positive part for me is that Jason Kenney and Doug Ford next will be having their feet put to the fire.

The longer this goes on the Federal Conservatives might be starting to feel a little uncomfortable, if you support this are you willing if/when you regain power to allow the same from any opposition?

How do you walk back on supporting this and still be credible in the eyes of the public?

The guillotine was posted to show that left demonstrations can get just nasty and a sign that makes threats against a conservative Premier ("may history repeat itself") doesn't seem to attract the same degree of outrage as a confederate flag.

Were you the officer who knocked out Sarah Polley's teeth? I've always wanted to buy him or her a beer.

I can't really see the truckers catching flack for empty shelves as they're just a fringe minority in the trucking world right or that's what some claim and one could argue the measures taken are warranted after all they are getting results. Kenney has announced as of midnight no masks and no more passports. Will it save his career? I doubt it. Meanwhile Ford and Elliot have doubled down on stupid. The best thing Ford has done for Ontario was kick the few Ministers he had with any integrity out of his party, hopefully they can form some kind of coalition after the up coming election and get away from this follow the leader of the party mentality or your gone style of politics that seems so popular.

The trucker convoy has made it clear that they don't want any political affiliation tied to their movement, they just want the tyrant gone and are not being unreasonable in their demands as they have given the current regime a choice of that or mandate freedom back. The longer this goes on without direction from Trudeau and the more Premiers that end mandates of their own accord the worse it gets for him. As CPC is the official failed opposition under Erin and now that he's gone it does not seem out of the ordinary for them to do their job. For the record any government infringing on it's citizens civil rights deserves to met with contempt from all parties and is fair game in my mind.

Well the same type scaffold and hang mans nose was set up by the right to hang Mike Pence so nobody has the high ground.

In relation to the second question with Miss Polley I would never strike a little girl like that there would be no lawful justification, I just watched the video of that particular demonstration today and was not there for that one.
