You wonder how our forefathers ever survived without jabs, don't you?
I agree 100%. Health issues are huge, yet so interrelated with economics. Tough nut to crack.

In my simple mind, this is all much more simple than many make it out to be.
Initially when the vaccines were rolled out, they did indeed work, both in reducing transmission and symptoms.
Despite that many were concerned with new/rushed vaccines (I get that, and don't hold it against them)
A new variant (Omicron) emerges and the vaccines are no longer effective at preventing transmission, but still seem to help a bit with symptoms.
That minor upside is nowhere near enough to convince anyone who was initially hesitant to take it now. (and rightly so)
Despite the fact that many of us have seen the above for the last month or so, Governments are big slow machines which never turn quickly. Despite that, they are starting to turn and we are starting to see restrictions drop. I'm convinced this will continue.
Omicron appears to be so easy to transmit, that I don't anyone is going to avoid this one, but there is logic in slowing the spread some to ease the resources those who get sick demand.
Now that we have seen the impact of the holiday season on hospitals, and despite it making them busy, it was manageable, things are being loosened up, and will continue to be unless there is a significant increase in hospitalization.

Hopefully once everyone has Omicron, there will be significant natural immunity and this thing will end.

Sure there have been political motives involved throughout because many politicians are scum bags, but a lot of it has just been due to fear of the unknown. Know that its becoming known, things are going to ease up.

I truly don't think its any more complex than that.

This "covid" thing will never end as some think. It will just continually mutate and morph, staying alive and well as long as there are mammals, and who knows, maybe move on to amphibians and fish. It's like saying the flu is extinct, or polio or measles, which they have actually developed a REAL VACCINE FOR.
One thing I believe for certain is that many immune systems are being compromised at this time by Big Pharm Experimentation and they don't even have to practice in a controlled lab environment.
I was hesitant and leery 18 months ago about the jab, and nothing has since happened to soothe my soul besides judicious use of internal lubrication with fermentation practices of proven doctors such as the early Egyptians as well as more recently Drs Carling and Molson.

Which is working better.... natural immunity (that doesn't count for these mandates) or the vaccine, Sheila Gunn Reid and a friend doing immunity tests.

So we know it works. We know it has side effects. We know getting covid carrie’s a higher risk of effects than the vaccine. Is the only reason some people refuse to get the vaccine purely based on skepticism, or is it a time/data thing? Are some still believing a nefarious government plot? We will eventually reach an endemic stage and hopefully the virus becomes even less potent. Maybe some are riding it out cautiously until this point. The experimental aspect of the vaccine comes up, maybe this causes alarm? But the science on mRNA dates back to the early 1990’s. I’m hopeful we are approaching the end. Their are hints of it getting better with the scientific data. At the same time I think the majority of media outlets know the end is coming and they are still hyping stories to get more views/responses. Don’t buy into it. I’m hopeful we will be back to normal soon.
I'm not so sure about that. https://dailyexpose.uk/2022/02/06/ca...TelHivkS41lrrA

I sure hope it isn't and I'm not sure why they are looking at Canada when the U.K. was vaxxed before us, surely they would be first to show symptoms.

For me, it’s another one of those misinformation stories. I remember as a kid seeing those magazines (national inquirer, etc,) at the checkout of grocery stores. I often wondered who on earth could believe that crap. Now that we’re in a digital age, it’s a lot easier to spoon feed that load to all walks of people that are willing to listen. Directionless people that want a dream more than reality. I’m sorry to say but some of that rebel/rumble stuff falls into this category. You should hear some of the misinformation coming up on zello. It is hilarious at first, but then you start to wonder how many people are taking it for face value as real information and it becomes scary. As I’ve said before, information needs to be scrutinized before accepting it. And it’s ok if some information doesn’t align with a certain belief we might hold, it doesn’t make it less true.
