It's funny our current government can use the rcmp to get the information to freeze and block accounts of the public of 20 million in donations. Fire workers for 100 dollar donations all will blocking their own corruption of the we scandals. The we organization ran fast and bailed the country so fast .

Actually the highly trained public order units with full shields and riot gear were never deployed, they were probably in reserve, that is the real riot squads. The force used was proportional to the resistance by the occupiers and I think the police did a darned good job.

The rigs themselves were the weapons. Look at Coutts, they almost rammed an rcmp vehicle. They were used in Ottawa purposely to shutdown the core of the city (like barricading oneself in, they build forts or mini communities with their vehicles). I think Doug Ford is trying to introduce legislation for this kinda thing to never happen again.
