Wait seriously?? Now it’s ok to just do as you please (illegally) just because you called ahead? Lol. Come on……

Well when you see a 100 km lines of rigs heading to Ottawa before it got to Ontario they have to park somewhere lol. They used parking lots too. Nothing was done to better the situation from our government again just called them names.

Who's to say they wouldn't have found parking if the government actually acknowledged them ?

It's a protest they drove in their truck they said they were staying the city of Ottawa and the government failed to arrange the parking lol

Protesters are still there just different locations and smaller groups.

Well they are regrouping in 3 locations, may attempt it again, so a week or two maybe a month or two, doesn’t bother me. And other attempts maybe made at other border crossings or two.

My wife send messages this morning and said some trucks on the USA side at niagara border.
Haven't seen anything about it tho.

I think once the USA gets going its just going to open up the flood gates again here.
On a side note it could be the most peaceful protest in USA history lol.

Ottawa won't underestimate the potential threat again. If they try to blockade the borders they'll be moved out, their bank accounts frozen, trucks de-insured and perhaps seized. There may be smaller pop-up parades here and there but nothing of any significance.

They made their point. They lost their battle. Time to go home.

The state of emergency will remain in effect until these groups parked within an hour of the Capital decide they will go home, the silent majority in Canada are now sick and tiered of this nonsense. The Conservatives are going to pay a price in the next election as there is a whole bunch of moderate voters now very upset with them. We have the spectacle of PP in the house of commons doing what he does best complaining with no solutions. I am dying to see this guy on the election circuit telling the public how he is going to reduce house prices by half.

I think any protester who gets arrested better watch what they posted on the past, when you publicly state your never going to give up, never going to leave, are prepared to die for your cause, you need to walk back on all these promises in a bail court hearing.

I’ve been saying it a lot but it doesn’t hurt to say it again. Some people just need to drop their emotional tendencies and let cool heads prevail. They will not achieve much by letting themselves get out of control.
