Nope just because mistakes were made in the past doesn't justify there use in the future. What I'm saying is you can't just impose or recognize certain parts of a law to a certain group of people if you are going to apply law it must be done with the whole law taken into account with all paragraphs and subsections and applied to everyone equally.

Well I see you are able to make the distinction between mistakes made by past Conservative Governments and put that down to a simple mistake. Now you are saying the Conservatives do not want the law applied evenly to the Ottawa protesters because they are some how different.

I would say the damage caused by the Ottawa, Coutts group has far outweighed the damage done at Oka or Ipperwash.

In any event you seem to distinguish between two sets of FREEDOM FIGHTERS one set the ORIGINAL OWNERS OF THE LAND gets martial law imposed and army at Oka and murder by the OPP at Ipperwash for defending their land.

If you are foolish enough to attend an insurrection with your children, if you are foolish enough to continue in an illegal occupation of a city after been warned numerous times every day you probably deserve what you get.

There is a little concept in tort law for this person who got knocked over by the police horse its called Contributory Negligence, that means at a civil trial after all the footage is shown to a Judge he/she will decide how much to blame was this illegal occupier for their own demise.

They might get awarded 5% of what they were seeking and after the lawyers bill might end up with empty pockets.

The fact remains that laws across Canada were broken. Many decent people that wanted to peacefully protest the mandates were manipulated to protest a cause they weren’t made aware of by the organizers. They were called to “hold the line” and manipulated into believing they were not free, nor were they living in a democracy. It goes to show you how easy it is to confuse some. Obviously the majority of Canadians didn’t join the cause and could make sense of the situation. Appropriate measures were taken to prevent the rot from spreading. Many warnings were given and ignored. Don’t cry foul when you had ample time to do the right thing.

If Canada is such a communist dictatorship, may I suggest checking out China. They seem to be really open to individual thoughts and freedoms…..
