    Default North Bay footwear

I'm visiting a friend this fall (likely Oct or Nov) and am planning on hitting up some crown lands in the North Bay area to do some small game hunting over 3 or 4 days. What type of footwear do folks recommend for that area? Where I regularly hunt at the moment it's pretty wet and/or swampy so I'm often in my rubbers, but I've never hunted up there before.

I use two types and often bring both on trips. I have a pair of upland hunting boots (a solid day hiking type of boot would also work fine). I also have a fitted type of rubber boot that have felt liners that I use in all but the coldest/snowiest conditions.

For this, I prefer to wear air jordans sneakers because they are the most convenient options for me from all shoes. In order to pick up the skyraces boots, I spent a lot of time in the shoe shop until I understood what brand I would like to wear. This brand was, of course, Nike, who I was able to find a ton of different options. In particular, it's a cross-page at an affordable price for me as a student. I think it's the most convenient way to find the right shoes.

    Typical answer..."It depends".

I've hunted extensively for upland and waterfowl in the area.

If you're an upland hunter that mostly uses the quad, and steps off for short hops, then yes, any pair of decent rubber boots will do.

If you put a lot of KMs on the boots like I do. Then you're going to want a pair of decent upland boots like Irish Setters, treated for waterproofing, with a pair of lace up LL Bean boots, or similar as back up.
"Camo" is perfectly acceptable as a favorite colour.
