Starting this year:
If you Don't do a Mandatory report for a particular game then the next time you buy the same tag a $25 surcharge will be automatically added.
If don't report again (2 consecutive years for same game), then you cannot buy that tag on the following (third) year.

Highlights on page 6 (page 8 in pdf) that is now illegal to hunt pigs in Ontario.

Landowners can still whack them if they're causing damage to livestock,crops or tearing up pastures.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Good. I think the absolutely lame voluntary reporting numbers were disgusting. Unfortunately this is what it takes to get people to do the right thing to improve wildlife management in Ontario

I just applied for my moose tag… it could be my year! I also bought my deer licence and applied for a doe tag… I’m not holding my breath as I expect the tags to be cut back again.

Did I miss how many points are needed to get a tag or do they come out later. For moose?
