I've always said we're not in the business of policing people, but there are rules that need to be followed, and you'd find that on any social platform. As for likening anyone to Hitler, not only is that hyperbolic, but it's insensitive to Holocaust survivors and everyone who died in the war. You're honouring him by bringing him up at all; don't you see that?
I am referring to Bill Maher's comments in regard to Justlied Trudeau and if you look at the history the coalition and dialogue and actions are reminiscent of the early 1930's actions by the National Socialists. I have already posted that a few times and it is irrelevant to this discussion about the indiscriminate censorship and the admin actions.
I am not grouping them, I have said several times already, one post I got a PM saying, good post from an admin and another deleted it and locked down the thread based it seems solely on their prejudices, I base that on the fact the first admin said "why it didn't break any rules". If there is going to be censorship and I don't disagree it should happen occasionally I am asking what is the criteria and will someone be held responsible or will the censoring better controlled....
The alternative seems to be that you like and want the censoring, true?

Post a link and tell everyone to keep the same usernames so we know who is who. Just a thought.
He would be far better served creating a group on MEWE or Facebook and getting a few T-shirts printed as merchandise since the effort to maintain a page, the database, server connectivity and load are a time consuming pain in the ***

lol why would we make our web traffic public? I suppose next you'll be wanting to see our Inbox? Why not my social insurance number?
I'm glad Tapatalk is still working for you, though; it has changed a lot in the past two years, some people have been having trouble with it.

Mosquito of course I don't read every link you post on here I have a full-time job, am a mother to young children, and I have limited time or patience for propaganda of any variety.
Yeah, different people are going to have different views, as I've stated, people are complex organisms that vary, and ADMIN/MODS are no exception to the rule. I think the fact that we're having this discussion proves that we're not in the business of censorship, either. We welcome public discourse, of every kind, provided it's respectful. This is a Forum for that very thing. Here are the guidelines for what we expect in regards to that respect:

Maybe there's a way for new members to be directed to this page immediately after signing up, to ensure clarity. Worth looking into, I think.
Gotcha. So if I made a post about left-leaning Liberal idiots but wasn’t referencing anyone in particular, …it wouldn’t be flagged right ?

73hunter,
Perhaps you just missed Mosquito's post #71?
Edit: I should clarify, you can attack the idea, you cannot attack the person.
Example: The (whichever) government sucks. -> a-ok
The people who follow said government suck. -> not okay
TS' comment is about soapboxing, not about any or one political leaning. I should also point out that given the current political climate and campaigning, we expect there to be more political discourse, we just ask that you don't go at each other's throats about it.

So here is a bit of MOD 101
In using this phase you should of known or ought to have known there are members here of a Liberal backing
as per rule
3(a). Personal insults, inappropriate or offensive content, the incitement of violence, or disrupting behaviours, which are detrimental to discussions in the forum will not be tolerated.
Calling someone an idiot clearly violates this rule hence infraction given.
Really isn't that hard eh?

Sorry Meghan-i must agree with GW on this one, albeit it is hard to set a date for the start of the demise of this, once great forum.
One just need to reflect back ,and see what is clearly visible.
Not arguing-just stating the facts.

That’s hardly a “personal” insult or attack. It refers to a group, not an individual. So from your personal perspective, if someone said “criminals” were scum, that would be a “personal attack”??? Really isn’t hard at all !!

Seems reasonable to most of us doesn’t it Rick.

Fair enough Meghan, no insults to any person, or identifiable group. Ever. Close the hunting and fishing sections in case we offend PETA or the deer and bass themselves lol.
A while back, someone on this forum who I consider fairly wise told me that “some things are best ignored”. I guess we all could use a little of that.
