Given what GBK has said about Costco’s price on the Lifetime brand coolers, if I was looking to save some cash I would try that cooler out. Heck with Costco’s return policy, you could buy it and test it out in your back yard in the hot weather and see if it fits your needs.

Has all the bells and whistles "any"rotomolded cooler has.
Even my wife(who does not care much for these things) was impressed.
199.99 $.
As far i can see in this thread-that is a pretty darn good deal.
If i would need one-i would be already owning one today!
With 2 full size available Coleman/Igloo coolers, hard to justify.
Plus-Costco has the "best"return policy...........if one is unhappy with the product-voila.
UPDATE-after sub search it turns out ,these are Blow molded ,not roto molded.
Yet-Web search claims, they meet roto molded cooler performance.
held ice for 10 days best money spent

People not take it seriously
I guess because it is not a brand name,
and it is not expensive to build ...
It serves me well for years ...
The smaller one I line it out with a contractor grade bag ,
put in a 10 kg ice , use as a day cooler .
The big one fill with 60-100 kg ice , salt it with 4 kg .
and the 2 Bear are coming home frozen from 2 weeks Spring Bear hunt ...
I just keep in the shade , and inside I use an isolation blanket .
to keep the ice and the meat covered .
On the way home the temperature inside is lower than - 5C
I posted before but the people wasn't interested ,

Nope I was interested, but they do look heavy. I might take existing coolers I have an put some spray foam in them.
The temps your saying are very impressive.
I wonder maybe if you used 1/4 inch plywood and and the frame with 1X1/2 strapping, looks like you used 1x3 and 3/8 inch for the plywood..
