    Started off with 3 shakers right away in about 80 FOW-65 ft down on a greenish spoon off the rigger.....
    Then got an 8 lber...... Went out to 190 FOW and nothing so went back shallow and got a few more shakers and 2 more fighting salmon (6 &10 lb)...One of them came in with a lamprey on him

    Those last two are good sized for the smoker.

    I kept one of them, cut it up in a steak format. going on the BBQ this evening

    I find them best marinated with recipe including salt, since they have been in freshwater the salt firms up the flesh.
