Are you able to provide a picture of one actual mushroom including the stem? Also I'm assuming they were picked from the ground?

No stem as these were in a bunch on a tree. Teeth are very firm also and don’t easily fall off. I’m thinking these are not correct or maybe very young still? They didn’t check all boxes so I let these go

Yeah Hedgehog's grow on the ground not on a tree. Could be some type of bracket fungi.
