My wife is a day care teacher, comes home numerous times a year sick. Part of the job I guess, little kids are like large walking germs. But she has never had Covid.

It's not a vaxx/no vaxx thing; it's a parents with young children adjusting to germs thing. But then again we're all readjusting to germs again, right? Takes time.

If we all died from taking these shots then the rest of the will also die as there will be almost no one to run critical infrastructure.
Humans would cease to exist in a very short time.

So if there was never a study done by pfizer before coming to market who thought vax passes were the only way out? Oh yeah it was from the WEF brain child, the group who Penetrated our government. Remember our unions made it mandatory without any evidence. If they took the evidence they would not have made it mandatory.

Now we have even more immune evasive strains . Wonder why?

Ps NY workers public and city get their jobs back and full back pay to those who lost their jobs from the mandates. Imagine that.

    LOL
Although I'm thankful we can get a handle on some of these things as seniors; I had shingles. Terrible illness.

You're taking that out of context. My point being I did what was recommended at the time and I don't want to live in fear anymore.
"Is anyone worried about a COVID resurgence?"
Not this guy. *points to self.* Come what may.
That being said, my attitude would probably be different if I was immunocompromised, in poor health, or in my later years of life. Everyone's situation is different. There is no solution that works for everyone; people are more complex than that.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

Meghan, good well balanced replies you have put forward. For the record I am 73, 2 time cancer survivor and immunocompromized. I have not had the flu or a cold or even one day feeling sick since the start of Covid - is it the shots (5), the masking, the handwashing, the following of precautions that are not crazy - who knows. I just know that I am happy. I will continue to follow the recommendations of the proven experts. I do understand that everyone has the right to make their own decisions. Just hope we ALL stay healthy.

We should definitely not be living in fear.

As for the resurgence of this winter I think it will be pretty fast waves Maybe 2 depending on the new variants but short lived. My concerns is the shape of the Hospital people are dying waiting to get in and it's not even close to peak season.. Maybe I took it out of context on my last post but saying we took took it to protect others is misleading when there was never a study done. I was called a racist, misogynist, non science believer and extremists by our pm when in reality there was not any science done about it.

We would get out of this pandemic alot faster I think if the government was honest and truthful. That I have said since the beginning but when we are following a narrative I guess that's all that matters to them.
