Weather
How is this unusual weather affecting your hunting/ migration etc.? 62 degrees on Nov. 2. Wow.

still seeing huntable numbers of woodcock west of Barrie go figure. Something just not right about hunting in a t-shirt in Nov.

I usually get good luck the few times I've hunted in a long sleeve or t shirt for deer ! Lol!

The weather patterns will start shifting on Thursday. It’s supposed to be around 18 degrees tomorrow then much cooler on Friday and beyond. I’m heading out to deer camp on Saturday morning and the extended forecast for NW Ontario next week calls for more seasonal temps with variable weather. Hopefully no blizzard this year.

I'm still hittin' the lakes. This is the most fabulous time of the year to be fishin',although, the walleye are still off the bite. The lakes are still in "turnover" mode (really murky) and likely will be for another week or so,yet, but, the colors are breathtaking, the weather is warm and some Bass are still hittin'. I was out to the woods for a spin on the ATV,yesterday, not seeing a lot of Deer sign quite yet. Next week will be very slow in WMU 73 if it stays warm.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Second week is looking good up here.
They say the only good wolf is a dead wolf, If that’s the case than I’ve reformed many a wolf.

I'm heading to Burks Falls Saturday for a 4-day hunt and it is going to be a warm hunt. We are planning a shore lunch on Sunday, which is a first. The long range looks colder for the second week of the hunt.
My second deer hunt is on Manitoulin Island Nov 21st to the 25th and the temps look much better.
Good luck to all, be safe and shoot straight
