    "A global ceasefire"
As the world works together to take away your firearms rights.

What's the difference between the world economic form agenda and the Canadian agenda? Nothing it's the same agenda.

If the tone and tenor of your posts here reflect the discussions you had with fellow gun owners then it's hardly surprising you didn't attract much support.

I agree not the best way to win hearts and minds.

But the OP should know by now its actually the "lefties" coming to his defence, the NDP are pretty vocal in opposition to the recent moves.
I know tons of Union members, GM type guys, almost all of whom hunt are are already on his side. Aboriginal bands in Ontario and across the
Nation as gun owners have spoken out.
There are a very large number of Liberal voters who are gun owners/hunters who will vote against this Government should this law pass.
There are a very large number of folks who may not hunt at all but will vote against this Government because of the possible loss of private property and the destruction of heritage/inherited firearms that have sentimental value. Most all veterans will want to vote these guys out.

All this adds up to a very unpredictable voting mass the Liberals should not have poked with as stick. IMHO

Standup is right of course, and in particular the part about being a united front and having one large, well-funded voice like the NRA to speak on our behalf

However owning to the seat distribution in the Toronto, Montreal, and the East Coast voting blocks. There is not a snowballs chance in Hades that the liberal will not be able to form government. It may only be a minority situation, but they will concede a few items, in order to draw support from some other party to prevent a vote of non-confidence. Their main goal being to have control of the political agenda. It don't take a genius to figure out their game.

For thirty years plus I've heard the perpetual whine that all gun owners don't support each other. Firearms ownership is a diverse activity. Hoping the twice a year hunter who might own one rifle will actively support handgun ownership is like expecting an Olympic rower to oppose a ban on jet skis for no other reason than both activities involve watercraft.

Well…..if the guy with one rifle wants to lawfully keep it then I guess he’d better stand up and be heard, and that means supporting each other - differences or not

And that there is exactly why all guns will be banned within 30 years. So far I have been right on.
