What Sam said, I would rather try and fish with a welders helmet on that look at a flasher, drives me nuts and nauseous.

Anyone have the Garmin Striker 4 Ice bundle unit? My older Marcum crapped out so was thinking of buying the Garmin.

Same I also don't think they as detailed as a graph when fishing for whitties. I find it harder to see the bottom fish and I mark more then the people using the vex or marcums.

With the graph you can see the bottom changes alot easier. Just a slight change is usually a fish near the edge of the zone.

    Just my opinion.

for me, the underwater camera was a big game changer.
I could learn alot about how my lure moves under the ice, and why I missed so many bites, specially with whitefish.

Im still no where close to catching as much as I like to, but at least now I see what I do wrong and try to fix it.

The Garmin striker 4 also has the graph option and the flasher/graph spit screen option. I have never ice fished using a graph but good to know that it is useful.
    Thanks for the good info

I bought the Striker 4 package last winter and i really like it . Great battery life, easy to use, and great definition on the graph. I don’t use it in flasher mode so I can’t comment on that feature
