    Default Saturday Morning Coyote

Got to the farm just after 1st light, setup and within the first 90 seconds this small female came out looking for that dying rabbit. I let it get into about 100 yds before I yelled out a loud "WOLF" sound causing her to stop for the shot. After the shot, she went about 25 yds before falling over dead. The snow we got is great, just enough to make it look white and not enough to impede walking. Stayed for another 15 minutes with no other takers.

Good work,Fratri. Ya whacked 'em good. I haven't had a chance to get out since just after the deer hunt. How do you find the pelts? Are they worth taking off?
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

No jack tracts at all. It's been at least 20 yrs since I see a live jack around here.... There can't be very many at all. All the walking across fields all these years and nothing and no evidence of them at all.

I was out this morning too. We had great conditions, little snow on the ground, light winds and cold temps but two farms produced nothing for me. I guess that is why it is hunting not shopping
