The Ukrainian soldiers said the same about Zelensky. They feel abandoned.

In November, Milley put the number of dead and wounded Russian soldiers at 100,000, and that could fall on the low side. A Pentagon official said in early August Russian casualties numbered 70,000-80,000. That was more than three months ago, and those months have shown no kindness to the Russian army. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin commented that the Russian military had lost “staggering” numbers of tanks and other armored vehicles, adding that Western trade restrictions on microchips would inhibit production of replacements.

As a result of these losses, Russia has had to draw on reserves, including T-64 tanks first produced nearly 50 years ago. It reportedly has turned to tanks from Belarus to replenish its losses. To augment its own munitions, Russia has had to purchase attack drones from Iran and artillery shells from North Korea. As the Russian military has drawn down stocks of surface-to-surface and air-to-surface missiles, it has used S-300 anti-aircraft missiles against ground targets. The Russian defense budget will need years to replace what the military has lost or otherwise expended in Ukraine.

Poor leadership, poor tactics, poor logistics, and underwhelming performance against a smaller and less well-armed foe have left Russia’s military reputation in a shambles. That will have an impact. Over the past decade, Russian weapons exporters saw their share of global arms exports drop by 26%. Countries looking to buy weapons likely will begin to turn elsewhere, given that Russia’s military failed to dominate early in the war, when its largely modernized forces faced a Ukrainian military armed mainly with aging Soviet-era equipment (that began to change only in the summer, when stocks of heavy weapons began arriving from the West.

Unfortunately that’s the sad reality of war. Every side ether allies or enemies will be pumping out propaganda to support their side of the war.

It's definitely been harder than they expected but when you add in all the un nations donations and funds they have taken the biggest loss. The usa alone has spent more than the entire Russian military budgets. It's like they wanted it to drag out well that was their plan to drag it out so Russia drags on and suffers an economic collapse. Ship them small arms then bring in more heavy equipment as time goes on.

But that's back fired their economy is set to grow faster than Germany. Sanctions didn't work.

I think the push for more tanks is because another shipment of tanks just came off the production line. T 90 tanks are being mass produced with a shipment last August and a new shipment making way to the front now. They also just brought in 4 makers an un manned robot tank equipped with anti tank missles . They are designed to detect us and British tanks with the latest tech and scanners. Also I believe new long range missles tornado missle? 105 km range with greater accuracy has been mass produced since last summer. They have control of a 1/3rd of the country with more mobilizations of troops and bigger weapons making it to the front.

Also big company's put out a bounty for the capture or destruction of the Abraham tanks heading to the front. Talks and seize fires are over I still believe they will surround kyve and send a final warning and it won't be pretty.

They are pretty determined. They only wanted peace for the Russians that have been killed over the years in Ukraine and for the west's power of the labs in Ukraine. New evidence shows that they were indeed working with a coronavirus in Ukraine. But those were myths then they weren't lol.

When a Ukrainian official went looking into hunter Biden and the labs joe biden refused to give them a billion dollars until that person was fired. That was well before the war.

I don’t see how peace negotiations are possible until either side receives a definitive blow or political upheaval forces them to change directions.

Ukraine couldn’t negotiate for peace at this time with 1/5 of its territory occupied by Russia. It will most definitely lose that land if it asks for peace. Russia, doesn’t seem willing to just give back what it’s taken.

Russia has no interest in peace. It seems to me that Putin still has ambitions of taking all of Ukraine. The Russian propaganda machine is strong, and current laws prohibit anti war sentiment. So unless his inner circle oust him, the situation can only continue.

We may be witnessing the beginning of WW3. The U.N. has little influence over Russias actions. If it’s purpose is to maintain global peace, the U.N is having as much success as the League of Nations did.

Men will never achieve global peace. If I was a betting man I would bet a year’s wages that it will never happen, even if I knew I would live 1 million years I would still be confident enough the bet that I’d never see it. Mankind is too deprived by nature.
