    Ground is still covered with snow here - Ottawa. Lakes still covered. Hard to think about open water fishing now. I don't usually get mine out until the long weekend in May. Pike and pickeral are closed until then and bass doesn't open until end of June. Very nice boat though. I have a 20 year old legend 175 with a 25hp.

    If I had the time I could still go ice fishing on most of the small lakes around here

    They were still ice fishing yesterday couple brave souls lol.

    I have never been but my brothers have been there on the opener 20 years back and could not keep them off the line. Is the fishing still as good for them now or has it gone away like the smelt?

    I am hoping to take it out to Lake Ontario next week, for Lakers and Browns....

    can be good at times however like everything being at the right place at the right time is the key.

    Detroit is just starting to heat up for walleyes,next week should be on fire. Just need some better weather.
