    Default LOL Darned Bears!

So I finally made it out to deer camp for my annual spring trip to set up my trail cameras. I have 8 cameras that I pair with Cell Link adapters. I set the cameras up over bait/mineral licks. I use a dairy ration as bait to draw deer quickly to the cameras. The mineral licks keep the deer coming back once the feed is gone.

Look what showed up 20 minutes after we finished setting up one of the cameras. Guaranteed this bugger won’t leave until he eats every last bit of feed!

It’s WMU 10. If I had time, I would bear hunt there, every year I get pics of brown and cinnamon phase bears.

Bears can be hard on the deer treats. One spring I put out two brick sized mineral blocks at each of my cameras. The last picture I got at each was a big black bear - presumably the same one - walking off with the block in his mouth.

I’ve lost a few blocks to bears too. It’s always a risk leaving anything out in the woods as you never know what a bear will do with it.

I'm sure starting to wish I had the same problem haha! Maybe I need to get some of that deer feed for my barrels.
