Its go time for deer this weekend
Finally cooling down here in Southern Ontario this weekend.
I'm completely out of deer meat!!
Will be in my 92B ladder stand at some point this weekend.
My archery tag is good for buck or doe. First good size deer I see I'm pulling the Excalibur trigger! lol

smaller of rain, I'm thinking Sunday to go just to give the deer 24 hours of cooler weather. I have 2 cell cameras out and working now and haven't seen a deer in this heat, but did see them when temps were normal.

Good luck. Renfrew county is supposed to get something like 50mm of rain Saturday - so not a good day for bow hunting here.

I'm hoping to get my stands put up this weekend and sit during gun season. . Most likely not making it out for bow season with a new baby in the house.

Might go out tonight if rain holds off and wind is favorable. Corn still on, beans are off. Plan is to sit in a new spot, bit of a funnel between 2 corn fields. Good luck to all.

For me, Thanksgiving weekend is the worst time to go bow hunting for deer because I only can hunt public land in October. The woods are just to busy with mushroom pickers, hikers, grouse hunters, atv riders, guys sighting in guns on private beside public land. I will wait until the pressure is off the deer and go in next Wednesday.
